Graphite Hot Zone Elements

Large or small, Oxy-Gon can design and manufacture custom graphite hot zone elements that are efficient and economical.

Competitively priced graphite hot zones are available for any vacuum or inert atmosphere furnace. These elements and insulation packs can operate up to 3000°C (depending on vacuum level), are more energy efficient then full metal hot zones and can have a longer lifespan with proper maintenance. Graphite hot zones also benefit from their black color (emissivity nearly 1), which allows for even higher uniformity.

In processes that can ignore small amounts of dust and where the absorption of vapors is not an issue, graphite hot zones are a very economical choice.
